Page to elucidate on the fact that Central Government as we know it in the UK is dying - or rather, being pulled apart - because:

• Comunication makes the world smaller, allowing states to become larger, i.e. control is lost to larger hierarchies such as Europe (/America?)
• Communication allows (or should allow) smaller, denser communities to organise themselves more efficiently, and allows information to leap between these small communities, i.e. control is decentralised and put into the hands of people more
