Bobby Fischer is being chased by the US after "illegally" playing a match in Yugoslavia, in 1992. He also offered some rather anti-American views post September 11th ("Fuck the U.S.", for example) which probably doesn't help his cause. He got arrested in July 2004 when trying to leave Japan, and now Iceland are offering him residency.
