This section will hopefully gather together thoughts, philosophies, ideas, comments and all the rest regarding anything to do with coding, and software. As this is a major professional factor of my life, it is currently the thing I thus do least in my spare time - I feel as if I have been fulfilled during my day's working.

Downloads

The Mozilla Bookmark Merger now has its own page. Woo. It uses Perl to ineffectively splice together two Mozilla bookmark files.

• For my final year project thing, I managed to hack together a rough polymorphic virus using the indomitable and venerable QBasic. Even got a less-than-Warholesque mention in the local rag. Maybe I'll get round to making the whole thing available here some time, unless the Uni own my work or something. They can do that, you know.

Rants

Object Objection: Are some Java programmers arrogant because they're insecure? Or is it just something you get with any programming group?

Code As An Interface - If the availability of code is about control, is code complexity a barrier to practicality?
